Tax transformation is a long journey, and Lucibeth’s goal is leading a new model for the delivery of services in technology, process and governance. She brings a lightness and fun to her work, finding ways to energise stakeholders and groups, while being direct and open. A known expert in her field, Lucibeth brings deep insights and a practical focus.

Lucibeth’s a Chartered Tax Advisor with 15 years experience, both in-house and in practice – she’s lead real change from both sides of the table. She lead a national indirect tax technology and e-invoicing practice for a Big 4 provider. Lucibeth has transformed in house tax functions, overhauled supply chain models and implemented global tax engines across 50 territories – Vertex tax engine would be her Mastermind topic!

John has worked in international tax for over 15 years, known for bringing sharp thinking and practical clarity to complex areas, he cuts through the noise to help tax, finance and technology teams deliver measurable outcomes. John’s energised by progress, open communication, and always focused on impact. He loves to bring a creative edge to his work, passionate about “keeping things fun” and finding ways to bring a spark to daily tax management.

John has had roles leading an EMEA Operational Transfer Practice and held senior global tax leadership roles for a Fortune 100 company in the US. His career has been shaped by transformation programmes, from the very large and complex to the very fast and high impact.

Colin’s a Chartered Accountant with 20+ years experience, bringing strategic thinking, systems expertise and a healthy dose of pragmatism to the ilumis team. He believes that tax operations should be robust and grounded in how businesses actually run, not just how they work in a powerpoint. Colin likes big challenges, sharp logic, and making complex things work simply.

He’s worked for Big 4 firms, leading delivery and designing and implementing OTP solutions and scaling finance transformations including SAP S/4HANA. A diverse toolkit, he’s worked in everything from tactical automation, using Alteryx and Power Query, to full scale deployments of SAP PaPM and AI powered decisioning.

Simon has helped clients rethink tax from the inside out, aligning processes, tech, and compliance requirements across their end to end operations. He brings an authentic, direct approach, leading with curiosity to cut through complexity and drive successful outcomes.

Simon’s a Chartered Tax Advisor with experience across indirect and direct tax, transfer pricing and statutory reporting. He spent a decade at GSK working in global leadership roles, managing a team of 50, overseeing ERP implementations, supporting finance transformation and ensuring continued and efficient compliance across 90+ countries. He then moved to a Big 4 to work as Tax Transformation Director, leading ERP enablement and data strategy projects across SAP, Oracle, and Workday.

Becca’s curious, ambitious, and here to make an impact – growing her technical skills, bringing fresh thinking to every project, and helping to shape what the future of tax operations can look like. She’s energised by opportunities to simplify workflows, design smarter systems, and turn messy problems into elegant, repeatable solutions.

Becca’s fully ATT qualified, and was honoured to be a prizewinner in her exams, something that reflects how much she enjoys diving deep into complex topics and finding clarity on the other side. Now two years into her career, she’s found her home at the intersection of tax, technology and problem-solving.

Hattie’s here to learn, question and contribute to better ways of working at ilumis – building a career that blends deep technical thinking with practical impact. She’s currently studying for her ATT with plans to move onto the CTA, diving head-first into the world of tax and technology.

Hattie’s always been drawn to the intersection of logic and systems, understanding tax and how technology can make it better. Her job is to challenge the ‘this is how we’ve always done it mindset’, helping teams to move faster, cleaner and with more control. She’s also a tech-whizz, loves using Python and building her own tools to experiment in automation and simplifying workflows. She’s definitely not here to coast!
